FOILSKIN® consists of an SBS rubberized asphalt compound, integrally laminated to a glass scrim-reinforced aluminum foil. FOILSKIN is specifically designed to be self-adhered to a prepared substrate, providing a weather barrier. 

• SBS-modified membrane, flexible at low temperatures
• Impermeable to air, moisture vapour, and water
• No flame or adhesive required for installation
• Thickness controlled at point of manufacture Excellent adhesion to prepared pipe and insulation substrates
• Membrane is self-sealing when penetrated with self-tapping screws

Usage:

FOILSKIN is designed for use as a jacketing system over insulated ducts, chilled water piping, refrigeration pipes, plenums, and housing to provide a UV-resistant AVB. Also used to waterproof and protect pipes from corrosion in underground applications.
