This presentation will describe overcoming waterproofing challenges by utilizing a spray applied, instant setting membrane. Instant setting waterproofing assemblies provide a quick-curing technology with long-term stability beyond UV exposure; including resistance to impacts, scratches, punctures and provides a slip resistant, heavy construction traffic, and root barrier protection. Due to the robust nature and enhanced elongation and tensile strength, this technology allows for the waterproofing to be installed without fabric reinforcement and provides a durability that eliminates the need for a root barrier in vegetative roofing assemblies; creating certainty where traditional waterproofing assemblies are difficult to install due to complex design and construction requirements.
